C&E Mechanical Ltd. is a commercial, industrial, and institutional plumbing and mechanical contractor based in Belleville, Ontario — built on a direct relationship with one of the world's largest consumer goods manufacturers, a partnership that has shaped the company for nearly 20 years.
What started as basic facility service work — fixtures, drinking fountains, sinks, and eyewash stations — grew over almost two decades into full-scope mechanical capability: air compressors, boiler work, glycol skids, cooling water systems, and complex process piping and structural work.

That same relationship opened doors across the region. Word of mouth and a proven track record — not advertising — brought C&E into the Peterborough and Kingston regions. Today, the company fields unsolicited inquiries from large construction firms across Ontario, a sign its reputation has outpaced its marketing.

Team & Capacity
A core team of 25 to 30 full-time employees, with surge access to roughly 250 additional unionized tradespeople, lets C&E scale up or down based on project demand — without sacrificing quality or accountability.

Journeyman-level trades staff include Red Seal certified plumbers, pipe fitters, welders, and fabricators — every project led on-site by experienced General Foremen.

What We Value
Safety and efficiency aren't slogans here — they're the standard every project is measured against. Daily toolbox talks, detailed pre-phase planning ahead of major and high-risk work, and real-time communication with every crew keep people safe without slowing the work down.

That discipline shows in the results: projects delivered on budget and on schedule, with an immaculate safety record — even on live, operating facilities where there's no room for error.

01
Safety & Security:
C&E holds a certification stack — TSSA, CRN, CWB, and TSSA Plastic Pipe Bonding — that few Ontario mechanical contractors carry all at once. That means fewer inspections, faster approvals, and eligibility to bid on work many competitors simply can't.
02
Transparency
Clients get real-time reporting and communication throughout every project — from daily toolbox talks to pre-phase planning ahead of major work — so there's never a question of where things stand.
03
Growth & Innovation
C&E is investing in what's next: a new ~10,000 sq. ft. facility with a 5-ton overhead crane for larger in-house fabrication, and specialty welding equipment to match. Longer-term, that same process piping and fabrication expertise is positioning C&E for emerging markets like data center cooling systems, small modular nuclear projects, and government and defence facility work.
04
Team Work
A core team of 25 to 30 full-time employees, with surge access to roughly 250 additional unionized tradespeople, lets C&E scale to a project's demands — one accountable team, from fabrication through field installation.
05
Reputation & Trust
Growth into Peterborough and Kingston came through word of mouth, not advertising. Today, C&E fields unsolicited inquiries from large construction firms across Ontario — proof that reputation is doing the selling before marketing even enters the picture.
06
Craftsmanship
From custom stainless-steel fabrication to a live production-line retrofit delivered on budget, on schedule, and with an immaculate safety record — every project reflects the same standard of execution, self-performed in-house.
